On behalf of the Donetsk People’s Republic and Lugansk People’s Republic too, I want to welcome all participants of the anti-fascist conference, which these days and often take place on many continents in many countries, and especially in the Republic of Korea. We are in the former Ukraine and now it is the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. Here we started our struggle against imperialism, against fascism, which is backed by American imperialism and the Anglo-Saxon ideology of conquest, of subjugation of the whole world.
And what is happening now on the territory of Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporozhye, and Kherson regions, it is all a derivative, it is all what U.S. imperialism aims its tentacles at—the Russian Federation. It wants to subjugate the will of the people of Donbass, the former peoples of Ukraine, and to show that only one power in the world—U.S. power—dominates the whole world, and the metastasis of this struggle stretches to all sides of the world.
This applies today to Europe, which is doing America’s will. I am not talking about Ukraine, which has become a toy and a tool in the hands of American imperialism. Of course, it also concerns the countries of Southeast Asia, the Korean peninsula, Indochina and the whole Pacific region. Wherever the American boot or American imperialism comes, everywhere there is tension, everywhere the military situation dominates these regions. All this is being done to make American capital feel dominated in the world. I appeal today to all peoples, peoples of the whole world. In the Donetsk, in Lugansk, in Kherson, in Zaporozhye we do not want any war, we want to live in peace with all peoples. We want to be friends. We want to trade, we want to socialize, to communicate, to have cultural exchanges, to engage in sports exchanges. This is our desire. For this purpose, we stood up 10 years ago against the fascist imperialist government that exists in Ukraine today. We have been fighting this ideology and the rulers of the Ukrainian state for 10 years.
We are not against the Ukrainian people. We are fighting the Ukrainian regime because this regime is doing the will of American imperialism. I want to emphasize once again that we want peace, we want friendship between peoples, we want our homeland—Russia, which we are now, would be a powerful independent state that would live in peace with the Korean people, with the Chinese people and even with the American people. I wish everyone happiness, the end of all military conflicts, and international friendship—this is our dream. The main thing is our hope; I am sure that the peoples of the world will understand us and follow us together. We have risen up against American imperialism. Let’s fight together.
