Dear Comrades,
On behalf of the entire Communist Party of the Peoples of Spain PCPE, of the Central Committee and our SG Julio Diaz, I send you a fraternal greeting and our congratulations for the organization and holding of this international conference. At the same time, we greet all the international delegations present.
At a time when we are witnessing a growing escalation of warmongering by the U.S.A. and the countries nucleated around NATO, sometimes directly, other times covertly and hidden behind satellite states, for example Ukraine, against more and more countries. Initiatives aimed at advancing anti-imperialist positions that seek the construction of a broad World Anti-imperialist Front are necessary and correct.
In the development of a complex multifaceted war aimed at defending, above all other considerations, its unsustainable hegemonic position, Western imperialism has placed Humanity in the first stages of World War III. A confrontation against the sovereignty of all peoples who, increasingly, oppose its expired imperial mandate and, from a multipolar space under construction -not exempt of contradictions, but more and more determinant-and who no longer assume the vassalage imposed by Western capitalism since the first moments of the original accumulation.
An imperialist aggression which is no longer unanswered and which, even with multiple active fronts, is today being fought mainly in the Donbass in the framework of NATO’s aggression against Russia’s sovereignty and the latter’s defensive response.
Imperialist violence and its irrational existence, once again, places humanity on the brink of destruction and environmental collapse, for the sole reason of sustaining the primacy of capital over any other social consideration.
Humanity urgently requires the broadest call for peace and the defense of the sovereignty of the peoples in the context of the anti-imperialist struggle and the defense of nature. To advance it, recovering the social leading position of the masses, necessarily focuses the debate on POWER and which class needs peace and which needs war.
For the most consistent and conscious revolutionary camp, peace and anti-imperialism go hand in hand with socialism and workers’ power.
A systemic crisis of the capitalist mode of production is sweeping all countries. Unemployment, misery and hunger are on the rise again, almost all the economies of the world began to contract more or less simultaneously since 2019, in the monopoly banks an enormous surplus of fictitious capital is accumulated that exceeds the real international capital dozens of times, the health systems has collapsed in almost all countries in the face of a virus whose danger is not yet of the greatest, energy has become scarce even in the central countries, and behind all these and many other problems, the imperialist centers are planning a war to save themselves from the collapse of their international hegemony.
The general crisis of capitalism is of a structural nature and is determined by the current impossibility of reversing the trend of falling corporate profitability, as has been demonstrated, the monetarization of the economy and the globalization of capital is not a viable alternative to correct the economic laws of capital formation. The historical cycle initiated at Bretton Woods is coming to an end, headed by the countries that have led it throughout these decades. Nor is it viable, under these historical conditions of capitalist development, to maintain the generalized cycle of extended reproduction of capital. Reality will prove this again, with the practical failure of the current proclamations of the European bourgeois governments (among them the Spanish social democratic government) on technology and “green capitalism” to try to overcome the crisis of the capitalist system.
Capitalism has its historical limit and so does the planet, subjected to the impositions of Capital. But this historical limit of the capitalist system will only become a reality with the organization of the world proletariat led by scientific Marxism-Leninism.
