The Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks (Nina Andreeva) welcomes the organisers and participants of the International Conference of the World Anti-Imperialist Platform and wishes the forum every success.
The International Conference of the World Anti-Imperialist Platform is taking place at a very tense time. After the destruction of the USSR and the dissolution of the commonwealth of socialist states, the general crisis of the capitalist system has intensified considerably due to the unfair division of the countries of the world community into a rich minority of imperialist states led by the US and a poor majority of dependent countries of the rest of the world. The imperialist NATO bloc led by the US seeks to consolidate and strengthen its hegemony by pursuing a policy of maintaining its dominant position in the world by waging wars across the planet, supporting and nurturing reactionary, including fascist, regimes and globalising the world economy. Imperialist globalisation is a new form of neo-colonialism, it is the dismantling of sovereign states, depriving them of their political, economic and military independence. Acting on the principle of “divide and rule”, the ruling circles of imperialist states are pitting the peoples of the third world against each other with their duplicitous policies and have declared their main task to destroy Russia. This is the reason for the nine-year military conflict in Ukraine, which could turn into a World War III with fatal consequences for mankind. By launching a special military operation (SSO), Russia is fighting a just battle for its freedom and independence, to protect the people of Donbass from Ukrainian neo-Nazism, to demilitarise and denazify Ukraine.
The freedom-loving peoples can oppose imperialist expansion and neo-fascism spreading in the world and defend their independence by joining their efforts. We call upon the participants of the International Conference of the World Anti-Imperialist Platform to deploy more actively the struggle against imperialism and its progeny – fascism, against the US attempts to unleash a third world war.
