We sincerely thank the organizers of this historic conference.
It is a high honor for the African Party of Independence of Guinea and Cape Verde (PAIGC) to send its solidarity to this historic gathering.
We treasure the comradely relations with the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) that we have enjoyed since the first years of the Glorious Armed Struggle for National Liberation in 1963 on through the phase of Independence with the PAIGC Party State.
Our Eternal Comrade Kim Il Sung and our Eternal Comrade Amilcar Cabral always had respected relationships, as have the leaders of our Parties.
As Kim Jong-Il taught us, the “…process of building the Party and that of constructing socialism are one and the same…”
We understand that this conference is a stepping stone toward strengthening cooperation with the World Anti-imperialist Platform in the future. You can count on the PAIGC.
We would have been with you in person, however as we write you the Headquarters of the PAIGC are violently occupied by neo-colonial agents who carried out a military coup d’état in 26 November 2025, suspended the Constitution, violently occupied the democratic institutions and kidnapped the PAIGC President, Brother and Comrade Domingos Simões Pereira and other comrades. When our comrades go to the airport to travel they are either arrested or prohibited from boarding flights.
We must coordinate our ideological training processes without dogma, and have systematic political ideological exchanges.
Amílcar Cabral reminds us that; “…People are sacrificing for better schools, access to health care, better lives and not of ideas in other people’s heads…” This doesn’t mean that we minimize ideological struggle. Practice has shown us that like Karl Marx said; “..Philosophers have hitherto only interpreted the world in various ways; the point is to change it…”
